NSX Activities

A total of N$  37,756,888 worth of shares was traded on the NSX on Thursday with about N$ 3,162,702 worth of Anglo-American, N$ 215,217 worth of Sanlam Limited and N$  65,110 Oryx Properties Limited on the home front. No ETFs were traded on Thursday.

  • Anglo-American share price decreased at closing as the company followed the overall bearish market condition on the JSE and NSX.
  • Shares belonging to Sanlam Limited were allotted by market participants yesterday, increasing in share price
  • On the NSX local listing, Oryx Properties Limited shares were allotted by market participants, without a change in share price

Local News

Cracks are widening within Namibia’s business community, as the cake continues to become smaller due in part to current economic conditions. (Namibian Sun)
