NSX Activities

A total of N$ 97,662,385 worth of shares was traded on the NSX on Friday, with about N$  3,768,537 worth of Anglo-American, N$  2,687,951 worth of Sanlam Limited and N$   12,070  Oryx Properties Limited on the home front. No ETFs were traded on Friday.

From the trading activity that took place:

  • Anglo-American share price increased at closing as the company partners with EDF Renewables to secure 100% renewable energy supply
  • Shares belonging to Sanlam Limited decreased in share price as cautionary notice advised market participants of the possible material effect that may arise when dealing with securities.
  • On the NSX local listing, Oryx Properties Limited shares were allotted by market participants, without a change in share price
