NSX Activities

A total of N$ 18,874,757 worth of shares was traded on the NSX on Wednesday, with about N$ 10,972,378 worth of Anglo-American, N$  3,624,328 worth of Shoprite Holdings, and N$ 68,604 of Mobile Telecommunications Limited on the home front. No ETFs were traded on Wednesday.

From the trading activity that took place:

  • Anglo-American decreased in share price at closing as company buyback program was halted
  • Shares belonging to Shoprite Holdings were purchased off by market participants
  • On the NSX local listing, Mobile Telecommunications Limited shares were sold in large volume resulting in an decrease  in share price at closing
