NSX Activities

A total of N$ 31,491,844 worth of shares was traded on the NSX on Tuesday, with about N$ 11,176,249 worth of Anglo-American, N$ 1,369,361 worth of Shoprite Holdings, and N$ 9,814 of Mobile Telecommunications Limited on the home front. ETFs worth N$ 60,629 were traded on Tuesday.

From the trading activity that took place:

  • Anglo-American decreased in share price at closing as company buyback program is halted
  • Shares belonging to Shoprite Holdings were sold off by market participants
  • On the NSX local listing, Mobile Telecommunications Limited shares were bought in large volume resulting in an increase in share price at closing
  • NewFunds S&P Namibia Bond ETF (NFNAM 10 Bonds NM) ETF was discharged by investors for profit gain
