NSX Activities

A total of N$ 19 107 187 worth of shares was traded on the NSX on Friday , with about N$ 807 329  worth of Anglo-American, N$  1 752 446 worth of Old Mutual  and N$ 9 476 403  worth of Vukile Property Fund and N$ 547 817 worth of Paratus Namibia Holdings  traded  on the home front. From the trading activity that took place:

  • Anglo-American shares increased in value as data from JSE SENS delivers buying back securities activity
  •  Old Mutual’s shares were traded, resulting into volatile decrease in their share price.
  • Large volumes of Vukile shares were dramatically bought for the first time in this quarter.
  • On the NSX home front, Capricorn’s shares were traded at market price, reducing its share price.
