NSX Activities

A total of N$ 16 540 630 worth of shares was traded on the NSX on Tuesday with about N$ 14 926 901 worth of Anglo-American Plc, N$ 1 088 054   worth of Old Mutual Ltd and N$ 363 980 worth of NedBank Group Limited. No trades recorded on the home front as well as any ETFs.

From the trading activity that took place:

  • Anglo-American repurchased its own shares to reduce steep discounts of shares. This boasted their share price above the 500 mark.
  • Shares in Old Mutual were bought anonymously, increasing the share price.
  • Lastly, NedBank Group’s shares were sold off as the high HEPS fumes runs out.
