NSX Activities

A total of N$ 76 725 378 worth of shares was traded on the NSX on Thursday, with about N$ 24 577 015 worth of Truworths, N$ 26 816 813 worth of Barloworld Limited and N$ 23 897 worth SBN Holdings traded on the home front. No ETFs were traded on Thursday.

From the trading activity that took place:

  • Recently published report on stock (inventory) shortage issue in Truworths caused investors to sell most of their holdings, resulting to a decrease in share price of the company.
  •  Barloworld’s market performance shoots up, resulting into an escalation in their share price.
  • On the NSX home front, SBN Holding’s shares were traded at market price.
