NSX Activities

A total of N$ 61 854 670 worth of shares was traded on the NSX on Wednesday, with about N$ 142 951 worth of Anglo-American Plc, N$ 26 207 700 worth of Barloworld Limited, 408 917 worth of FirstRand Namibia traded on the home front. No ETFs were traded on Wednesday.

From the trading activity that took place:

  • Anglo-American shares surged in value as company buys back its own shares.
  •  Barloworld’s shares were vastly subscribed by market participants, resulting into an intensification in their share price.
  • On the NSX home front, FirstRand Namibia shares were sold by market participants, resulting in a decrease in share price.
