NSX Activities

A total of N$ 3 558 056 worth of shares was traded on the NSX on Wednesday with about N$ 974 844 worth of Old Mutual Ltd, N$ 828 290 worth of NedBank Group Limited and N$ 866 383 worth of FirstRand Namibia Ltd on the home front. No ETFs were traded on Wednesday.

From the trading activity that took place:

  • The acquisition of securities by BlackRock Inc further increased the buying trend of Old Mutual’s shares.
  • Nedbank’s release of the new money management tool drives up the buying of its shares.
  • An increase in the demand of FirstRand Namibia’s shares still continues after the interest payment notification press reports.
