NSX Activities

A total of N$ 158 110 061 worth of shares was traded on the NSX on Friday, with about N$ 9 478 691 worth of Anglo-American Plc, N$  20 771 717 worth of Barloworld Limited and  N$ 538 216 worth of FirstRand Namibia traded on the home front. No ETFs were traded on Friday.

From the trading activity that took place:

  • Anglo-American shares increases in value as company buys back its own shares
  •  Barloworld’s shares were vastly bought by market participants, resulting into an increase in their share price
  • On the NSX home front, FirstRand Namibia shares were astonishingly acquired by interested investors who want to reap good yields in the future
