NSX Activities

A total of N$ 3 998 528 worth of shares was traded on the NSX on Tuesday, with about N$ 1 833 641 worth of Truworths, N$  584 259 worth of Oceana Group and N$  25 298  worth of Shoprite Holdings no shares were traded  on the home front. ETFs worth N$ 6 450 703 was traded on Tuesday.

HEI Equity Research Commentary

From the trading activity that took place:

  • Truworths shares were bought by the public producing a hike in share price as acquisition talks still woos the market
  •  Oceana Group’s shares were traded at market price
  • Shoprite’s shares were bought by the public as news about shareholder’s engagement at the annual general meeting sways the public.
  • Complementary ETFs, New Gold Issuer and New Gold Platinum both got offloaded by market participants.
