NSX Activities

A total of N$ 682 344 worth of shares was traded on the NSX on Friday, with about N$ 364 695 worth of Anglo-American Plc, N$  23 213 worth of Sanlam Limited and N$  87 450 worth of Mobile Telecommunication Limited (MOC)  on the home front. ETFs worth N$ 106 707 were traded on Friday.

HEI Equity Research Commentary

From the trading activity that took place:

  • Anglo-American shares were bought back closing at a R600 for the first time in a while.
  • Shares in Sanlam were traded before closing time, diminishing the value of its shares..
  • On the local NSX front, Mobile Telecommunication Company shares were bought as soon as it got listed on the Namibian Stock Exchange (NSX).
  • New Gold Platinum ETF N and New Gold Issuer Ltd NM were traded as market conditions improve.
