NSX Activities

A total of N$ 3 195 456 worth of shares was traded on the NSX on Friday, with about N$ 225 638 worth of Anglo- American, N$ 662 941 worth of NedBank Group and N$ 571 410 worth of FirstRand Namibia on the home front. ETFs worth N$ 658 155 were recorded on Friday.

HEI Equity Research Commentary

From the trading activity that took place:

  • Anglo-American is still in the process of buying back its own share, boasting the price of its shares.
  • Shares in NedBank Group was dumped by the public, causing a dramatic deterioration in its share price.
  •  FirstRand experienced some trading activity, where shares were subscribed triggering a slight increase in share price.
  • Lastly, New Gold Platinum ETF N was bought by market participants increasing its value.
