NSX Activities

A total of N$ 10 398 531 worth of shares was traded on the NSX on Monday, with about N$ 435 620 worth of Shoprite Holdings, N$  796 550  worth of Truworths and N$  4 800 worth of Paratus Namibia Holdings on the home front. ETFs worth N$ 52 185 recorded on Monday.

HEI Equity Research Commentary

From the trading activity that took place:

  • Shoprite Holding’s shares are on a downwards trend as more of them are continuously offloaded by market participants. 
  • As Truworths’ shares declines in value, this is largely contributed by the dealing in securities by executive director, company secretary of the company.
  • Shares in Paratus Namibia were traded at market price.
  • Lastly, New Gold Issuer Ltd NM ETF was bought  by market participants.
