A hotel employee at the Kruger National Park has accused Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana of sexual assault, Eye Witness News reports. The minister said that he was with his wife at the time of the alleged incident and that the allegations were baseless. The incident allegedly took place on August 9, 2022, Women’s Day. Asian markets struggled for direction on Tuesday, weighed by worries over global growth following weak China data that knocked oil prices and commodity-linked currencies. (Reuters)
