NSX Activities

A total of N$ 8 612 435 worth of shares was traded on the NSX on Wednesday, with about N$1 419 300 worth of Anglo-American, N$239 097 worth of Firstrand Limited, and N$62 160 shares of Capricorn Group Limited on the home front. ETFs worth N$ 10 679 500 were traded on Wednesday.

From the trading activity that took place:

  • Anglo-American share price increased as the company starts up with new Aquila metallurgical coal mine that is located near Middlemount in Central Queensland in Australia.
  • Shares belonging to Firstrand Limited were traded resulting to the share price to plummeted
  • On the local NSX bourse, Capricorn Group Limited were trading without change in share price.
  • NewFunds S&P Namibia Bond ETF was traded in large volume causing an increase in share price.
