NSX Activities

A total of N$ 159,390,908 worth of shares was traded on the NSX on Friday,  with about N$  1,729,820 worth of Anglo-American, N$  26,540,549 worth of Shoprite Holdings, and no trades occurred  on the home front. ETFs worth N$ 448,000 were traded on Friday.

From the trading activity that took place:

  • Anglo-American decreased in share price at closing as company buyback programme is halted
  • Shares belonging to Shoprite Holdings were sold off by market participants
  • New Gold Issuer Ltd NM ETF were bought in large volumes as hedging of risk from geopolitical conflicts in Europe
