Local News

The management committee of the City of Windhoek has taken a resolution to halt all disciplinary processes instituted against the municipality. (Namibian Sun)

Tomorrow, Namibian consumers will experience one of the largest-ever fuel increases in the country’s history when petrol will increase by N$1.20 and diesel will jump by N$1.30. (New Era Newspaper)

The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has suspended Zimbabwe’s and Kenya’s memberships over government interference in the countries’ football associations. Asian stocks steadied on Wednesday as Russia faced mounting pressure and economic sanctions over the Ukraine crisis. (RTT News)

American big brands including Apple, Google, Ford and Harley-Davidson on Tuesday stopped sales and distanced themselves from Russia because of the invasion of Ukraine, joining a growing list of companies from shippers to car makers to energy companies shunning the country. (Reuters)
