NSX Activities

A total of N$ 21 715 323 worth of shares was traded on the NSX on Tuesday, with about N$ 16 882 520 worth of Anglo-American, N$ 1 333 119 worth of Shoprite Holdings, and N$  130 813 of Paratus Namibia Holdings on the home front. No ETFs were traded on Tuesday.

From the trading activity that took place:

  • Anglo-American share price soared in share price as the company buyback policy resumed.
  • Shares belonging to Shoprite Holdings were dumped by market participants causing a slight decline in share price.
  • On the NSX local listing, Paratus Namibia shares were traded resulting into a dump in share price.
