NSX Activities

A total of N$ 59 135 287 worth of shares was traded on the NSX on Tuesday, with about N$ 9 422 768 worth of Anglo-American, N$ 10 133 040 worth of Truworths and N$ 3 545 458 worth of NedBank Group and N$ 5 773 worth of FirstRand Namibia traded on the home front. No ETFs were traded on Tuesday.

HEI Equity Research Commentary

From the trading activity that took place:

  • Anglo-American shares continue to increase in value as the company buys back its securities.
  •  Truworth’s shares were bought by market participants, resulting into an increase in their share price.
  • Large volumes of Nedbank shares were surprisingly  purchased by interested investors who want to reap good yields.
  • On the NSX home front, FirstRand Namibia shares were traded at market price.
