NSX Activities

A total of N$ 22 568 551 worth of shares was traded on the NSX on Wednesday with about N$ 1 283 083 worth of Sanlam Limited, N$ 1 591 970 worth of Firstrand Limited and N$ 1 174 086 worth of Standard Bank Group. ETFs worth N$ 12 340 992 were traded, with N$ 12 300 421 worth of New Gold Platinum ETF N and N$ 40 570 worth of New Gold Issuer Ltd NM.

HEI Equity Research Commentary

From the trading activity that took place:

  • An anonymous sell-off transaction of Sanlam Limited shares caused the share price to drop, in spite of good market performance.
  • Three Firstrand Limited’s press release statement caused a negative selling trend in its shares.
  • The delisting of financial instrument announcement encouraged more buying of Standard Bank Group’s shares.
  • New Gold Platinum ETF N was sold off as performance of ETFs plunge while New Gold Issuer Ltd NM was bought privately.
