A total of N$ 159,103,250.43 worth of shares was traded on the NSX on Monday with about N$2,320,668 worth of shares belonging to Anglo-American plc and N$ 721,280 worth of shares belonging to Namibia Breweries. No ETFs were traded on Monday

From the trading activity that took place:

  • Share belonging to Anglo-American continues to be  sold-off by market participants as China’s weak economic data deteriorates commodity prices, resulting in a decline of 2.4% in the company’s stock value at closing
  • Namibia Breweries’ shares were traded by market participants, resulting in no change in share price at closing.
