NSX Activities

A total of N$ 9,821,289.45 worth of shares was traded on the NSX on Monday with about N$ 2,265,632 worth of shares belonging to Anglo-American plc and N$    38,456 worth of SBN Holdings Ltd on the home front. ETFs worth N$ 127,158.40 were traded on Monday

HEI Market Commentary

From the trading activity that took place:

  • Anglo-American’s shares were subscribed by  market participants on the overall bourse, with a 2.2% decline in share price at closing
  • The shares owned by SBN Holdings Ltd were traded on the domestic stock exchange, causing the share price to rise by 53.85% at the end of the trading day, following the announcement of a dividend of 46 cents per share.
  • New Gold Issuer Ltd NM and New Gold Platinum ETF N were traded on the exchange
