NSX Activities

A total of N$ 4 707 283 worth of shares was traded on the NSX on Tuesday, with about N$  4 531 787 worth of Firstrand Limited, N$  145 996 worth of PSG Konsult Limited and N$  29 500 worth of FirstRand Namibia Ltd on the home front. No ETFs were traded on Tuesday.

HEI Equity Research Commentary

From the trading activity that took place:

  • Firstrand Limited’s shares were the most subscribed on the stock exchange by market participants triggering a surge in share price at market closing.
  • Shares in PSG Konsult were the second most traded shares on the stock exchange, however they were retailed off as bear market conditions stimulate investors’ judgment.
  • On the NSX home front, FirstRand Namibia Ltd shares were traded at market price without a change in the share price.
