NSX Activities

A total of N$ 92 867 460 worth of shares was traded on the NSX on Wednesday, with about N$ 43 176 353 worth of Anglo- American, N$ 9 218 764 worth of Mediclinic International and N$ 682 361 worth of Standard Bank. No activities took place on the home front and no ETFs were traded on Wednesday.

From the trading activity that took place:

  • Anglo-American shares were sold as share price slowly declines, despite actions made by Anglo- American on buying back of shares.
  • Shares in Mediclinic International were offloaded by market participants, causing a slow decline in share price.
  •  Standard Bank shares are viciously being dumped as investor confidence decline, due to stories roaming around about the CEO selling off his shares.
