NSX Activities

A total of N$  26 660 971 worth of shares was traded on the NSX on Thursday, with about N$ 746 919 worth of Anglo- American, N$ 1 095 082 worth of Truworths and N$ 3 651 907  worth of Momentum Metropolitan and N$ 456 960 worth of Letshego on the home front. ETFs worth N$ 21 291 871 were traded on Thursday.

From the trading activity that took place:

  • Anglo-American keeps on buying back its own shares to keep the share prices up.
  • Shares in Truworths were offloaded by market participants, causing a slow decline in share price.
  •  Momentum Metropolitan faced a huge downfall whereas shares were dumped by market participants.
  • NewFunds S&P Namibia Bond ETF was sold for the first time after remaining dormant.
