NSX Activities

A total of N$1,554,447.51 worth of shares was traded on the NSX on Tuesday with about N$ 22,392 worth of shares belonging to Anglo-American and N$ 46,000 from Namibia Breweries on the home front. ETFs worth N$177,285.76 were traded on Tuesday.

HEI Market Commentary

From the trading activity that took place:

  • Anglo-American’s performance surged as gold prices traded slightly higher at $1 741.24 an ounce at the same time.
  • Namibia Breweries’ shares were traded by market participants, resulting in no change in share price at closing
  • New Gold Issuer Ltd NM was sold off as commodity prices grow soars amid the commentary made by the Saudi Energy minister signaling a reduction of oil
