NSX Activities

A total of N$131,108,667.84 worth of shares was traded on the NSX on Tuesday with about N$2,433,603 worth of shares belonging to Anglo-American plc and N$ 97,453 worth of shares belonging to Namibia Breweries. ETFs worth N$ 18,887,862.12 were traded on Tuesday.

HEI Market Commentary

From the trading activity that took place:

  • Share belonging to Anglo-American continues to be sold-off by market participants as commodity prices declines, resulting in a decline of 1.2% in the company’s stock value at closing
  • Namibia Breweries’ shares were traded by market participants, resulting in no change in share price at closing.
