NSX Activities

A total of N$ 10 598 122 worth of shares was traded on the NSX on Monday, with about N$ 2 735 045 worth of Anglo- American, N$ 1 406 803 worth of Shoprite Holdings and N$ 154 329 worth of FirstRand Namibia  on the home front. No ETFs were traded on Monday.

From the trading activity that took place:

  • Anglo-American shares reduced in price at closing following transaction in own shares.
  • Shares in Shoprite Holdings increased in share price following voluntary announcement relating to the establishment of an on-demand delivery.
  • On the local NSX front, FirstRand Namibia shares were traded, causing a reduction in share price.
