NSX Activities

A total of N$ 10 889 211 worth of shares was traded on the NSX on Monday, with about N$ 937 255 worth of Anglo-American Plc, N$  2 256 330 worth of NedBank Group  and N$  1 634 094 worth of Namibia Breweries  on the home front. No ETFs were traded on Monday.

From the trading activity that took place:

  • Anglo-American shares were bought by the company buyback policy to increase the worth of its share price.
  • Shares in NedBank Group subscribed as pre-close investor update helped market participants.

The Medical aid fund industry in Namibia suffered an overall loss of nearly N$ 139.9 million in the second quarter of this year. (Namibian Sun)
